Phone Triage Service

We have launched a new initiative which gives our patients, who wish to be seen today, the opportunity to be phoned back and triaged by their GP. This may potentially result in the patient not needing to come down to the surgery.

Their GP will call back the patient and discuss their concern.  This may result in the enquiry being resolved over the phone or the GP may need to book an appointment for the patient or if very urgent and being seen today is necessary the patient will be advised to come down to be seen through triage.

The whole point of the initiative is to attempt to resolve as many same day enquiries via phone hopefully avoiding the need for some patients having to come down to the surgery and wait. At the moment this service is available between 8am and 10am.
