An exciting opportunity exists for motivated and energetic individuals to join our modern general practice full-time as either a long-term locum or a permanent GP or a Nurse Practitioner.

The positions attract a competitive salary in return for working up to 8/10ths during weekdays, as well sharing in a townwide after-hours roster.

Taupō Health Centre is a teaching practice with an excellent supportive Peer Review Group, and provides assistance with CPD.

Taupō Health Centre, Te Taonga o te Ora, is a busy modern General Practice and Urgent Care facility in the heart of the beautiful Taupō township.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in either a part- or full-time capacity. You will work closely with patients, whanau and their healthcare providers to provide a comprehensive Medicines Management Service with a particular focus on improving equity and health outcomes for Maori and Pasifika.

As a Clinical Pharmacist and an active member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a Medicines Management Service that optimises patient care, improves medicines-related health outcomes and reduces drug-associated harm.

Taupō Health Centre is a teaching practice. You will play a key role in delivering a medicines management service that incorporates ongoing education and support of the clinical team in optimising medicines related health outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A current practicing certificate as a New Zealand Registered Pharmacist, no restrictions
  • A postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy
  • Recent experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a patient-centred role
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

We are a friendly, dynamic and fast paced General Practice and Accident and Medical Centre, seeking a friendly and dynamic receptionist to support our team.

As part of our Front-of-House team you will need to be approachable, confident and caring while supporting our patients throughout their visit. You will need to be able to work at a fast pace and with attention to detail when under pressure. Prior medical reception experience as well as use of Indici would be a bonus however, we are keen to hear from anyone who has the required skills and ability to work in our busy primary health care environment.

This is a casual position and as such hours are variable.

The applicant should be flexible, able to work at short notice, including weekends, public holidays and be available during school holidays.

Full orientation to the role is provided.
