Taupō Health Centre (Te Taonga o te Ora)
Practice Nurse position: Full-time
Taupō Health Centre is a busy General Practice and Urgent Care Clinic situated close to the heart of Taupō township. We care for the health needs of our approx. 12,500 enrolled patients, as well as for patients who are casual or visitors to our town. The practice provides after-hours support for the township on Saturdays on a shared roster basis.
Close to the mountains, nationally recognised bike trails and of course the Great Lake Taupō, this area offers much to those who make Taupō their home.

We are keen to talk with Registered Nurses who have a background in primary health care settings, acute hospital care settings or similar.
We are looking for a confident, competent Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a flexible enthusiastic approach, and above all else, a commitment to and focus on equitable health service delivery within a nursing framework.
You must hold a current New Zealand Nursing Council Registration and have an up-to-date CPR certificate. Registered Smear Taker, Nurse Prescriber and Authorised Vaccinator certification is desirable.
